I went to a friends wake Friday afternoon. He was only 64 and died from a massive heart attack. He was in better shape than most people. Then at 5:30 that evening we went to see my brother in the hospital. Cancer got him. He passed away at 10:17 that night. We miss him a lot. He was a US Army vet from 1975-1996.. angel

I was going to spin a tale about how in the last 2 months all 5 of my wide format plotters and my main workhourse 3D printer went belly up at work.. I have to repair them but most of the parts I need are unavailable. I had ordered parts i could find in December and they still haven't shown up.

Yep I was going to tell you how bad I have it but I think I will be grateful that I have small issues compared to so many of you.

Praying you all have better days ahead. up

they got my blood pressure kinda stabilized, but the crashing from normal to super low pounded my kidneys bad.

my meds have been modified, and i see my doc this coming wednesday for a med list overhaul and more blood work.
first thing i did when i got home was grind off 47&1/2 pounds of barnacles to get clean, then finally in a bed that was COMFORTABLE to catch up on the lack of sleep one gets while in the hospital.
i feel pretty good today, but i'm not allowed to do much until after the doc visit, where he will decide what i can and can't do.

prayers for you as well 🙏🙏✝✝

My good friend's mother passed a few days ago, although she was 93, still hurts.
Good, long life but she's gone now and he's feeling it.

Myself? Not too bad, granddaughter is doing well, healthy and happy.
Son is almost done with school (programs completes in March, 2024).
Last couple of years have been rough, got fired from longtime job in Sept. 2022
Started new job in Oct. 2022 and that only lasted til March 2023.
Started current position in June 2023 and going very well.
More driving, more responsibility, and a lot more money, so all is well.
Hope things keep improving, late 2022 and early 2023 were pretty rough...

Even with as little as my Mother had, there have been so many details to take care of and resolve.....

And so many FRIGGIN IDIOTS to deal with along the way. flame

"I'm calling regarding my Mother's account to let you know she has passed"

"Well, we need to speak with your Mother to get her permission to talk to you............" shock rolleyes

And there's still so much more to do.

Lord, give me strength..... help

UNBELIEVABLE! Customer Service isn't what it use to be! Did they even listen to what you said????! It's enough to be dealing with the loss of your mother.

Do they ever listen? Probably a language barrier too............... rolleyes

And today, the FUN continued. flame

Last Friday, by the time I left work, I was feeling a little under the weather, figured it was partly due to all the stress as of late. hammer

Saturday morning, I was full-on sick. Sore throat, fever, aches.......but thankfully NOT covid. Took some cold medicine and pretty much stayed in bed all weekend.

Went back to work today feeling better, but I was really short of breath and had a persistent cough. Boss sent me home early and told me to get checked out. Which I did,

I have walking pneumonia. shock shake_head

Stopped to get my drugs and as I was walking back to my truck, I noticed the water pump blew its seal. Yay......

In a strange twist of fate, pneumonia is what recently took my Mother out, because she couldn't get the (correct) care she needed.

many seem to be having issues of different sort, todays fun was getting to computers back that MAGICALY developed windows problems. I swear MS sneaks in changes trying to force one into their new subscription based BS.

walking pneumonia put me in the hospital for a week one time, so please take care of yourself !
luckily, i was a lot younger and survived it ok.
today if i got it, that would, or could, spell the end for me.
listen to what your doc says about doing any activities until you get over it. you don't want any complications from this.
