Rumor has it Brett Miller is doing something with a new W5 head. Does anyone have any info on this?

From what I gather he is developing W5 ports and perhaps chambers.

If he is happy with what he ends up with he hopes to have heads cast.

Square port only, no oval port (W2) types planned.

I sent him a donor head for him to develop a modern W5 head. His hope is for it to be manufactured in the us. But if he can't find a us company to do this project then he does have a contact in Asia that can provide castings. His plan is a 48 deg head and a 59 deg. head.

Thanks for the info and for sending the head. A modern W5 would be a great head option. I hope we have it soon!

Within a 3day period Brett started and posted some preliminary port work going 350CFM @.600. That's still with the limited stock castings which it sounds like if all goes well he will have some new revamped castings. This should be a killer head to fit a wide variety of applications. Hope it all works out
