I started looking for a posi unit for my 8 3/4. Moving car from strip to street and I don't want to drive with a spool. Any input on the Yukon posi unit? Thanks

I bought one of Cass's units on the Dr Diff website. I absolutely love it. good piece of hardware for sure. and it takes a beating.

Thank you

Go with a helical unit like an Eaton True-trac. Before you decide, check out a couple you-tube vids ... these units have a lot of benefits over traditional posi or suregrip units.

A friend of mine had one of those Eaton True-tracs in his Dakota R/T. He really liked it, never had a problem with it, and he beat on it pretty good too. Might be something to look into. Sorry, don't know anyone running a Yukon unit specifically.

Installed a few of the Spicer type Power-Lock units from Cass and they worked out nice for my customers.

On the reverse side a friend had one in an 8.8 ford rear that was assembled backwards by Eaton that ate itself up in about 15k miles , Eaton didn't do anything for him , replaced it with a Yukon grizzly locker that worked so much better. drive
