I got $800 out of a standard bore '69. 1969 Dart GTS 340 1969 Super Bee X9 N-96 1969 Coronet R/T X9 N-96 2015 Dodge Dart GT 2019 Ram 2500 Big Horn. Looking for the original block for my Bee. The last 4 are 7449

Took it to the machine shop and it had a spun cam bearing that needs to have the front bearing hole repaired, so my guy asked for another block. Took the second one down and it had pits in the lifter bores, quoted $850 to bush them! Took my last block down there and hadn't heard yet, that was out of a low mile car and I really didn't want to sell it as I knew it was probably a great block. Now I have to determine what to do with the other two, the cam bearing block would have to be sleeved, have no idea what that will cost... The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it. JB Rhinehart, Realist A-Body's RULE!
