i'll agree and 950 for a .040 block with two sleeves seems a bit steep IMO shruggy

I sold a 69 block for $400 last month. Took it to the machine shop and it had a spun cam bearing that needs to have the front bearing hole repaired, so my guy asked for another block. Took the second one down and it had pits in the lifter bores, quoted $850 to bush them! eek Took my last block down there and hadn't heard yet, that was out of a low mile car and I really didn't want to sell it as I knew it was probably a great block. Now I have to determine what to do with the other two, the cam bearing block would have to be sleeved, have no idea what that will cost... shruggy
