I have a 4 speed console trying to figure out a value of I've only found one on eBay and it's 899.99ajd pretty close to the condition the one I have is in I'm in the process of cleaning it up and still have more cleaning left to do it. The console isn't perfect have some imperfections in the cast metal

That's a 69 Top lid and console door.

The hole drilled in the driver side near near shifter will hurt.

Does it have the drivers side fiberboard bubble that screws into the cutout? They do repop that.

This $650 Sold one has nicer chrome and woodgrain. key and no hole drilled on the side: https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/a-body-4-speed-transmission-console.529535/

This $800 No Sale is not quite as nice as one above: https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/69-only-4-speed-console.535183/

With hole in yours I'd say $100-200 less than sold one.

Ebay $899 is just sitting waiting for someone that doesn't want and/or how to look around. Plus ebay fees and issues.

I didn't get the cutout piece with it but like mentioned they do make a repop one. I wonder why someone drilled a small hole in the side of it maybe for a light too big for a toggle switch. On eBay they have the cast metal pieces can buy a set for 800.00 and the woodgrain. I stopped listing on eBay years ago kept getting burned on the shipping cost and fees. I'll finish cleaning it up and see how it turns out

I have sold over a dozen of them in the last 10 years, I currently have two 69's I might sell. I will ask $900 each for them, they never made one after 69 so seeing that 70-76 door on it makes me wonder.

Nobody. There used to be a guy on eBay that was making them out of fiberglass, but that stopped about 15 years ago. A member made me one off my original this year, said it was a pain in the...

Well that is definitely possible, they were made for the Mexican A-Body's after they were cancelled in 1969...

That has been a couple of years, haven't heard anything about them since then. It would work, but is not even close to what they look like, and much bigger than the originals too.

Question: Was the lock in the door only found on the 1970 and later A-body consoles?

Yes. 66-68 had the argent tops and spring down door, 69 had the woodgrain tops with spring down door, 70-76 had the woodgrain tops with the lock button and spring up door.
