Magnumguy OP I Live Here Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 10,645 S.E.Ohio	A 57 Dodge Coronet. Many years before I became Magnumguy, I was 57Dodgeguy. This guy and I talked for several years, and he would chance his mind. But out of nowhere he asked me if I'd still want to trade. I said well yes! Bare-boned car, only option I see is the "Powerflite" transmission. Flathead 6, no radio and "dog dishes". No plans for it other that local cruising. Maybe duals and a era-correct radio. When I picked it up for you several neighbors dropped by and were sad to see it go. I guess he owned it for 30 years and it was a fixture in the neighborhood. Up until I had him drive it one the trailer he was still hemming and hawing... I bought it off of a used car lot in San Bernardino, CA and paid $900.00 for it in1964,it was my go to work reliable car Our 2nd Mopar (my wife's fist car we bought her) was a1957 Chrysler 2 door hardtop New Yorker.
