Hey guys, anyone have the part numbers for the wiper crank arm and wiper transmission for 3 speed 71 b bodies? I am converting it from 2-3 speed. I need the correct arm and linkage... I'm told I need a 2822290 crank arm, but I'm just trying to verify to buy the right ones.... TIA

71 B would use the 077 variable speed motor.

Getting ready to convert my 70, these are the notes I have:

For a conversion on a 1970-1971 E-Body or a 1971 B-Body from a 2-spd to a 3 or variable spd motor, you will have to replace the wiper motor crank with part #2822289, also the link from the motor to the drivers side pivot with part #2822293 (1970) or 3431102 (1971). Note the part #s are stamped in these parts. The 1970 link will work on the 1971 and vice versa.

Parts List:
Motor: 3431077
Crank: 2822289
Switch: 2770380
Link: 2822293 or 3431102 (These interchangeable)

Although different PNs the E body and 71 B body links are supposed to interchange.
I have the 3431102, so I'll find out.

So, the arm from the pivots really doesn't matter as long as it bolts up? The part number I have on the straight link from pivot to pivot is 3431103.... Is that correct for a 71 RR?

Yes, the link between the pivots is the same for 2-spd and 3/V-spd and is 3431103 for 71.
Yes B and E use the same motor, crank and links. Pivots and wiper arms are different.

As stated above you can use the 3431102 1971 B-body 3 speed arm in place of the 3 speed E-body 2822293 arm and it will work...I have done it.
There is an ever so slightly different bend on the 3431102 arm and the one end is slightly different but both function as they should for 3 speed conversion on either.
