I don't know what flavor you are looking for but Meziere has many that are certified 29.2

NHRA requires 29.1 for stock now. I looked last night on summit for one, nothing in stock. Ended up getting a B&M from Jegs. Not Meziere quality, but it will get the job done.

NHRA and it politics with the parts maker, how can anyone make a stock Mopar flex plate fail unless they install it backwards shruggy work
We should be exempt from that new rule twocents

BTW, I use to race several different Mopars cars in NHRA stock, I haven't ever seen a tech guy have anyone jack the car up so they could crawl under the car to see the SFI stickers on any tranny or other drive train parts work whistling shruggy

I agree with ya. Seems a GM racer had his ring gear come off his flexplate and did some damage. So all makes need to upgrade now...... Last couple of divisionals I've been to, tech inspection has been more of a "paper" exercise.

Yeah, 66 Nova lost a flywheel and sent pieces of ring gear through the side of Country Puppy's GTO.

Thing hanging over the Mopar camp is if converters are going to have to be SFI since that's where the ring gear is.

I have a new quicktime RM-947, which is shows a 29.1 spec. It is a 130 tooth non hemi pattern for crank and is setup for a chevy trans. I don't know if that helps you but I am looking to sell as I don't need it anymore and had it past the return window. PM me if interested.

I had 25% of my entire ring gear come off a converter. Didn't even know it until it wouldn't crank. Thought it was a starter issue. It caused one small nick in the wrench access opening. Then I saw one header tube sliced. Not one scratch inside the bell housing. I dont know when it came off. Starting or during the run. Never vibrated which is pretty strange. That's a lot of weight.

I think you dodged a bullet on that one. Sounds like a good time to carefully inspect my convertor before it goes back together.
