The 4 speed clearly adds a bunch to the value of a car like this but I'm not sure it adds as much as the asking price would indicate. Hope he gets it but I wouldn't bet the farm on it.

Per the comments it was on BAT a while back with top bid of $55k. which is about where I would put the car.

My gutt tells me its a long way from a rust free example

I really like the car. Color combo is awesome, but really looks to just be driver quality.

Over the last year or so I’ve seen I think two red ones with four speed with price tags in the 65-70 range that sold within a couple months of listing. No idea of course what they brought. Not sure Q5 would punch as high all things the same.

That fender tag…whoa. Car would need a close inspection if I were in the market.

I want my fair share

Thought I recognized it from BaT.
Cool car, definitely had lots of metal work done, but looks like a decent car.
You can read all the comments and such at auction link

BaT 69 RR Q5 4 spd NJ

Here is a pic of the original fender tag .

I agree with 55K value, assuming it all checks out.

Someone got in way too deep financially and is now trying every resource to recoup their money. That thing had to be crusty based on the tag

Never, ever argue with an IDIOT. They will drag you to their level and then beat you with their years of experience

Well it still retains it's original fender tag.
Everyone always complains on here, about all the fake tags
on all these cars...So seeing a real tag, that's untouched is a good thing IMO.
And if the car had a lot of metal replaced, that's fine, as long as it was done right... with quality parts
and a skilled professional, that did it.

That is factory for a convertible. They cut the top off the wheel well so the top can go into that area.
