I recently found a brand new set of Airwolf 220 heads locally and bought them. I really don’t know much about them but visually they look nice. What is everyone’s opinion on these heads? I don’t think many sets were made, what would you expect to pay for a set of Airwolf 220 heads?

Depending on the springs/hardware yours have, 2200-2500 wouldn’t be out of line.
Those were nice heads that make good power.
The only better non offset replacement heads are the Bloomer heads, and they are more than the range I mentioned above.

The only set of Airwolf heads on a running engine I know of were on the late great MoparBilly's Valiant. I think it made over 600 on IMMs dyno and still runs strong to this day.

I know of two more sets, a guy local to me, and poster STREETWIZE on here

A guy local to me has a set too that I did flowtesting on. I wouldn’t give you 500.00 for a set. Most erratic set of heads I’ve ever had on my flow bench. Flow swings of 15 plus cfm. He scalped the shortside on those heads to get his 220 runner cc. And Edelbrock, Speedmaster, and the 13 other copies have a piss poor short side to start with. They require shaping, not scalping.

Get yourself a set of Bloomer heads, W2 heads, TrickFlows, or Indy heads.

I have the actual set that were in the 633 Hp 408/360 that Steve Dulcich’s built for the engine masters article. They flowed as advertised and the porting looked SEMA show quality. The only thing that was wrong was the spring pressures were nowhere near what Bryce said they were so I had new PAC springs installed. Get them tested if you want them I had zero quality issues with them the only obvious thing to look at is the roof directly below the spring pocket is very thin (but adequate)

I would get another set in a heartbeat if they were equal to what I have. No sure what set John looked at but they weren’t indicative of mine.

But are they mid to low 9 second heads NA. 10’s are so commonplace now with the parts we have available. Heck my sons (6.54) I’m guessing 10.30’s-10.40’s was a stock crank 360 build at 3200 pounds NA.

I wonder why that company didn't stay in business long work
Maybe due to those heads having more problems than they were worth shruggy confused work

I paid 500 bucks for them so I felt they were well worth that. I was planning on using them for a future street strip build.

Thanks for all the insight!

Couple of pictures of mine 😎 I thought that I read somewhere that they didn’t have helicoil inserts in them but mine have them installed in the rocker shaft mounting holes as well as the exhaust manifold holes?

Does anyone know what brand valves these are? Intake valve markings read 2008.100 exhaust is 01-2001.100 and KST below that. Are the springs for a roller cam setup or hyd lifters?
