What black paint is used? Being told Orgainsol but mine is original and sure looks nothing like my 70Rr hood wich is.....


68 Charger 383/ AT Green/Green VT

SEM hot rod black is a very good match for my '68, and is probably what I will use when I get to that point.

I shot a 6 pack hood with it visible somewhere in the members projects area, and before I added deliberate texture to it, it looked just like the tail panel on my charger.

I remember my '68 & '69 Chargers having flat black in that area, not organisol.

Maybe check the original paint chip charts, they usually have info about black out paint codes.
