Unfortunately, my phone died early during the day and I didn't get any pics of the various cars.

I thought the track was in good shape, but looked to me like a lot of folks were having a tough time making clean passes. Is that the nature of these cars, or... ?

Brad were they on slicks or radials? Maybe brand new cars, new combo’s or just trying new tune-ups. Lots of variables.

A friend of mine said he couldn’t hook at all. He struggled. 9.96 @166 mph. 1.74 60 ft.
But he was really just testing as he just came from 1/3 mile roll racing earlier in the month.

Not all, but I'm pretty sure several of them were still sorting out fairly new combos.

I don't know the KOS rules... but I suspect you and Chip are correct on people trying to get a handle on new stuff

Slick and radial prep are two different animals so maybe that came into play.

I wasn't at MIR, but there is a mix of cars running radials and slicks in that class.

The track was radial prepped every time the KOS cars ran. IF you couldnt get down that track, you missed the tune up.....Like i did grin
Got down the first time shot, but after that , we didnt get it right. Thats why initally i didnt want to go , because im still sorting the car out. But it was a great time , and the people that put on the race are great. Really go out of their way to make it good for the racers. "ILL BE BACK"

Didn’t Leon have a mishap and hurt his car pretty bad a while back?
Glad to see he is back out. Great to hear!
