Hi all, restoring the grille on my 69 Bee..... does anyone know what type of argent/ silver paint is used on these grilles ? Any help would be great such as what type of paint is used the paint name and code, and if not available what are you guys & gals using to do the job.

I used the "totally auto" paints, and they matched perfectly, I bought the argent, and the grill silver, and the black and went to town.

Krylon dull aluminum 1403 (edited for accuracy)

Works for rallye rims too.

I think the 1403 is the dull aluminum color that is a great match for rallye wheel silver? It's very difficult to locate these days due to a Texas plant fire. Seems like most places that have it sell it by the case, which is $$$ Sky Geek, which does plane stuff sells it by the individual can, fwiw.
