Is Anyone braket racing with EFI? If so how do you like it? Is it as consistent as a alcohol carb?

I am just an occasional bracket racer, and I have never run an alcohol setup. That being said my EFI setup is extremely consistent. I have won a few races and went lots of rounds and I don't hold any ET or sandbag anything. I run it flat out because I have that much confidence in it. My car doesn't lose races, I DO! lol

Lots of people race with EFI engines these days. I'd guess that roughly 25% of the cars at the track are EFI.

I don't know of any consistency issues with EFI. There is some debate between racers whether they should race in closed loop or open loop. Old school guys prefer to race in open loop and then they adjust the dial in as the air changes the same as a carb. Others will leave the system in closed loop and let the ECU change the tune as the air changes. Either way will work, you just have to figure out which you prefer.

My first time at the track with my setup -540 Holley HP MPFI and a 4 speed. Easy runs just getting used to the car.
Small burnout, slow shifting and feeling out the car my efi was phenomenal!!!
I ran 4 12.0X second passes with my car, and remeber this is with a 4 speed. Couldnt ask for much more from it.
