That's in incredible shape! Can't wait to see the underside and the engine compartment after you get a chance to clean it up.
My uncle has spent about 20 years restoring a 1958 300D convertible, I am absolutely in love with the styling of the 57-59 Mopars!

Ragtop with A/C, not very common back then. A little over 600 in total production, less than 15 known to exist today.

Ragtop with A/C, not very common back then. I always thought that was odd too, to have a convertible WITH A/C but my longtime friend that lives in Florida pointed out that it's dumb NOT to have A/C in an area that has high humidity and daily popup rain showers. Driving a convertible with the top up in high heat and high humidity is no different than driving a hardtop anything with the windows up. He also said that convertibles with no A/C where usually purchased or ordered by first-time convertible buyers, they soon found out the mistake they made on a hot day with scattered rain showers.

When I transported that 58 300D fuelie and had it in my shop for a couple of years I drooled on it several times, it may have needed everything but it was the coolest car I have ever been around for any length of time! I hated to take it to another storage building right before I sold my shop. I also had the binder with copies of ALL of the 300 letter car IBM cards and owner information from the 300 club director, what a neat thing to page through... Definitely my favorite cars of all time are the 57-59 300's...
