I almost paid $250 for a really nice set about 15 months ago...but changed direction on the car.
They show up on Ebay from time to time: check "completed items", but without dents/scrapes they're probably worth about $200/set...maybe more now.

They were pretty hard to find last time I looked, and 1 year only.
Ask $150, and see what happens - should be sold quickly.
A few minutes on a buffing wheel, if you have one, should step them up nicely.

looking on the bag at all the caps in the completed section, the results varied wildly.
some paid large money for junk ! unbelievable !
someone needs to be able to use these, as i will never use 'em in my lifetime.
i wished i had a buffer, but i don't.
i may try just some cleaner wax in a tiny area to see if there is any improvement without having to spend a lot of time and effort.
thank you for your time responding to my questions. bow

No bench grinder? You can get a buffing wheel for under $10 at Ace hardware.
Having said that, I "get it" if you don't feel like going through all that...

What works good is to mount them on an old wheel and buff them there instead of trying to hold them by hand. If you do them by hand some leather shop gloves are necessary as they build heat pretty fast. You may get a sudden urge to set them down really fast if you don't. ozbbq

When you are done you can work the very outer perimeter of the cap if the buffer was not able to reach all of it.
