I happened upon this on the inturdweb. Dang I wish I could walk into a dealership right now and buy this! I'd actually prefer without wheel well flares but I'll still take it!

Sweet looking Power Wagon. Reminds me of a guy I used to work with 30 years ago. He told me he walked into the local Dodge dealership in 1978 and bought a brand new '78 Lil Red Express, off the showroom floor.

I like it! I have been toying with the idea of putting a roll bar in my 79 to give it that day two vibe.

[quote=67vertman]You wife sure has manly hands. I knew someone would catch that. The hand belongs to a member here "dynotune" who was tying up some loose ends on the resto. Unfortunately, another member here that did the majority of the resto had passed away. Ric Minetree

It looks like he was quite the craftsman.

While it doesn't even come close to how nice y'all's examples are, I had a '78 Ramcharger that was a blast. The whole top came off, making it a convertible. It had a 440, automatic, tilt column, AM/FM, cruise control and A/C, as well as full gauges and a tach. Never did restore it, but it wasn't bad as it was.

They are only original once and that one looks really good plus a 440 Restorations are only for situations where the only other alternative is the bone yard.

Here's the Wife's truck we brought back from the dead. Yellow wheels, 8 track and all. What it looked like when I drug it out of the wrecking yard...
