I use my Garmin from the motorcycle whenever I need or want to check one of the vehicle's speedometers. Has a fuel range that will warn you when to start looking for a gas station too that's helpful. Easy to transfer from vehicle to vehicle. And she talks to you so you don't get lonely

Yes I knew that but thought it is easier to use a gps than a phone app, probably wrong but just a suggestion.

I use one called Speed Box. I have had it for years.

Fun on airplanes because it also shows altitude.

However it does hit the battery pretty hard.
