It’s not a “full classic,” but strikes me as one. Doesn’t carry the price tag either. Been thinking a prewar ride would be cool. Seems the mopars had the engineering edge back then as well. The 31 Buick guys told me the had synchronizers and that was a reason to look their way.

What sort of things are there to know or be looking at on cars of the era?

One big advantage that Mopars have over most other cars of the era is hydraulic brakes starting in the mid 20's. GM not until the mid 30's and Ford not until 1939.

That’s a big plus. Huge. I’ve heard they had hydraulic lifters before others as well. One guy claimed the top models could run down a Doozie no problem.

if i'm not mistaken, Walter P. introduced hydraulic brakes when he started the company in 1924.
