Common king Snake They look very similar or the same Every King Snake I have heard of kill and eat other snakes including the rattlers and other piousness snakes as well as other small prey like mice and rats

Sadie was curious, but not bothered by the snake. She's been around our pet snakes enough to simply take them in stride.

I found this little guy this week while digging a ditch. He was about 6 inches underground. Unfortunately the one pictures isn't very good, but I think is also a rat snake. Agree?
