Reaching out to see what the forum’s thoughts are on repainting rallye wheel center caps for various model years.

I know 1970 is the light argent and 1971 is the dark agent (1972 up different design).

Focusing mostly on the 1970 and 1971.

Paint product recommendations for either model year?

Any procedures or key steps to repaint center caps?

Or just purchase the reproduction center caps?

Thank you in advance for your feedback.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

^^^ They do have good paint. I've used their argent for small areas and it's pretty accurate.
Paint is the easy part, compared to the condition of the plating.
If the plating need to be re-done, the aftermarket parts will be cheaper - assuming they fit & appear correct.
