Can anyone identify this? Maybe an A body Glove Box bracket? Thanks.

The bracket holds the heater control up. it screws onto the plastic control in the back and goes down to the dash frame and gets screw there also.
Wire and screws are for the console door

Mom & Dad let me buy a brand new 70 Challenger R/T 440 Six-Pack Super Trac Pack when I was 17

That would be my guess that it's an A-body glove box lanyard and heater bracket or at the very least the A-body glove box lanyard. BTW the '69 A-body glove box lanyard was used on the '69 A12 hood pin hairpin clips and attached to the rivet of the pin hole plates.

Thank you. Would this bracket go on an E body or A body?

Bracket is for the rear of the e-body ac/heat control panel.
Mounts to rear of portion with those 5 push buttons & other the dash frame.
Really just supports the rear of that panel.
