Dang I just saw one in the background of a street scene of The Rockford Files and now I forgot the name.
Facts are stubborn things.

Cal Worthington is one of them, Glendora Dodge original, first name, was another one I'm thinking there was a dealer in the San Fernando Valley that sold a lot of new Hi Po Mopars. Royal Chrysler Plymouth in Riverside, Palm Springs and Indio was another one who had salesmen that specialized in the Hi Po car orders. I tried to order a 1964 Dodge 330 two door sedan with a 415 HP M.W. and a 4 speed, I was told by their Hi Po Salesman in the Indio store that Mopar had quit building the M.W. cars in late February or early March and started selling the hemi cars only for the HiPo buyer, no warrantee either They tried to sell me a 426 Street Wedge in the car i wanted, it was listed at 365 HP, six week delivery and $2764.00 out the door with 5yr. 50,000 mile warrantee, tax and license, I said no Looking back I should have bought it

Let's see: haven't thought of their names in many years, even though I haunted some of the Valley dealerships, so this is rusty... Lou Baney had a Chrysler-Plymouth dealership, and I recall a dealer called Mashak, both in L.A. - both were sponsoring drag cars & Baney backed a AA/FD effort. In the West Valley there was Reseda Dodge, a Chrysler-Plymouth dealer across the street - where Dad bought his '66 Sport Fury - and a similar setup in Van Nuys with a Dodge and a C-P dealership- Van Nuys C-P is the name I remember. Dependable Dodge in Canoga Park, with yet another C-P dealer across the street. San Fernando had a Dodge dealer, and maybe another C-P across SFV Blvd from them. Orange County had Saddleback Dodge; they sponsored drag cars, most notably Charlie Allen's cars, but that's all I recall from OC. There were other Mopar dealerships in Burbank at one time, too: I recall Bob Smith C-P, where Dad bought our new '57 Sport Suburban.

Yeakel - yikes, forgot about them. Dimmette and Bayshore were a couple others. Claude Short, Earl Ike, Wegge, Alhambra and Harger-Haldeman, Dodge dealerships. Dominic Basso and Ellis C-P dealerships, too.
Yeakel's is now a McDonalds and Al's is now Okimoto's Automotive Center, still into auto repair Only 6.6 miles apart That's why I hoped my '69 GTX came from there. And someone on here thinks they saw a VIN of an identical "sister" GTX with the same exact options as my GTX and only a few or one number apart. Wish I could find sales info from Yeakel's for late '68 or early '69.

Sinitro for the win !
I recognize most of those, but like I said, I'm a bit rusty on the topic... Yeah.. Living in SoCal for many years, I recall many of the dealers. In 1966 I bought my 66 Belvedere II Hemi from McPeek, knew McPeek personally when he built his dealership @ Ball/Anheim. I designed/wired his background music paging system @ the dealership.. He gave me an incredible discounted deal, out the door for $3,300.. Just my $0.02...
