Found some more photos: (looks like the Dana cars had a different bar for sure)
Im pretty sure the only cars with a Dana that were avail with rear bars were 71-72 B bodies ( I've seen a couple, and it's a completely different style bar and mounting compared to an E body ) I've never seen a 71 B-Body with a rear bar, so I'm going to state that the '72's were the only Dana cars that ever got a rear sway bar. And correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there were any 4-speed 440 cars built in '73-4. How about a '73 Charger Rallye or GTX Roadrunner with a 400 Magnum & 4-speed? Was it available? If so, did it get an 8-3/4 rear?

Both of my E bodies have the rear sway bar. One is a 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe that originally had a 318-2BBL and the other one is a 1970 A66 Challenger convertible. I know the history of the Challenger since it was bought new and it is untouched since 1984, The sway bar looks very original. According to the fender tag it appears the A66 Challengers got the rear sway bar. Part of the package was "Rallye suspension." The sway bar looks very original on the Barracuda too but unfortunately I just decoded the fender tag and it doesn't say anything about it coming from the factory with a rear sway bar. I think the rear sway bar really helps these car drive and handle a lot better. I like my cars to be mostly original but no way I am taking off the rear sway bar. I bet they were both built after A53 production - what are their SPDs? S13 was an orderable OPTION on a 318 car & was required with F70-14 tires on a 318 car The Barracuda was an early car scheduled to be built October 15th, 1969 and the Challenger was a late car that was scheduled to be built on June 1st, 1970. Neither car has the S13 code on the fender tag. I decoded both cars on ebodies.org. They have a webpage where you put in what the fender tag or broadcast sheet says and it decodes everything for you. The only 71 B with a rear sway bar that I've seen is this 71 Satellite LAPD N code car. 72 was the first year for passenger car B body rear sway bar and yes the 72 B body Dana is the only Dana with a sway bar. as far as I know. The Dana sway and the 71 8.75 has a dip in the center and the 72 8.75 bar that I have is straight across the center. . We've had 3 Dana E bodies and none had a rear sway bar. Also as you can see the E and B bodies rear sway bar setups are totally different.

Thanks for the information 6bblgt. Dang! After seeing BigDaddys440 fender tag I was hoping the rear sway bar was original. Oh well, I am still keeping it though. Whoever put it on used all factory parts.
Just curious but why isn't the S13 code on the fender tag for my A66 Challenger? Was it included with the "Rallye Suspension" package?

Friend just bought a survivor-ish 1970 N-Code 'Cuda. Los Angeles built car.
No rear sway bar ever.
No holes for frame brackets, U-bolts never apart that sandwiches the sway bar plate that's not there
SPD of 106 (Jan 6, 1970)
