Cab_Burge I Win C Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 43,173 Bend,OR USA	I know a U.S. Air Force career airman that got suck into a jet inlet and lived to talk about it, That happened in North Africa in the early 1950s,1952 -1954 era. It happened on one of the early straight wing F80s? fighters and luckily, he didn't get suck into the blades, I think he may have choked the air inlet down enough to cause a engine stall I'm sure that there has been more than one person kill by being suck into a running jet engine revved up Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)

I'd forgotten until now that my Dad once mentioned that while he was in the USAF there was a guy at the base who got himself sucked into one.

And it was navy not air force.
