I remember seeing a video of an Air Force ground guy getting sucked into an engine, but I believe he lived? work

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I know a U.S. Air Force career airman that got suck into a jet inlet and lived to talk about it, That happened in North Africa in the early 1950s,1952 -1954 era. It happened on one of the early straight wing F80s? fighters and luckily, he didn't get suck into the blades, I think he may have choked the air inlet down enough to cause a engine stall shruggy
I'm sure that there has been more than one person kill by being suck into a running jet engine revved up shock puke whiney

There was recently. A female ground crew I think down in TX. a few months ago. She was in a definite no go zone as the heavy pulled up to the gate.

Saw something in the News that this event was thought to be a suicide. Seems pretty grisly to me.
I'd forgotten until now that my Dad once mentioned that while he was in the USAF there was a guy at the base who got himself sucked into one.

If we're thinking of the same video, that guy had a helmet on with the chinstrap unbuckled. The helmet got sucked off of his head and into the engine just before he was pulled into the engine, and the helmet caused the engine to shut down.
