Looks like it is run by a car transporter, what the heck, I joined...  Wow, it is a great car! Optioned well with fender turn signals, bumper guards, console tach, wood wheel, bumble bee stripe, power drum brakes and steering, surprised it doesn't have A/C! Looks like some paint loss on the trunk finish panel, but that's an easy fix. $46.5K but worth the coin IMHO...

I like this one, A LOT. And IMO will bring the asking price. Or at least close to it 1968 Dodge Dart GTS 340/Auto
This is a extremely original survivor with 47,000 original miles.
Car has 100% original paint with all original vinyl top, chrome and glass as well as interior.
Rebuilt numbers matching drivetrain
Loads of documentation including dealer paperwork, key tags, parts tags, broadcast sheets, old pictures and more!
Won’t find another one like this. Runs and drives like a brand new car!
Comes with original trunk mat, wheel covers and a few other misc parts that have been replaced.

I'm inclined to think it could be the best of both worlds: original, well-cared-for car with fresh mechanicals.
Why a car with such low mileage would have a mech rebuild makes me wonder, though.
Hard to say without asking, May have been beat on pretty hard early one, maybe due to a spun bearing in the motor????? Owner may have just wanted to freshen it up. Pizzer for me is I didnt give much more than this money for my 66 hemi car .........My how times have changed in 2 years !!!!!! if I was in the market. ( Im not btw ) Me and the owner would be talking. A 1968 Dart is near the top of the A body wish list for me. 2nd only to a 71-72 Demon

I've always wondered that too. See it often. I can understand re-gasketing but a rebuild? Where's the fender tag?
