Hi everyone,

Currently working on a 70 Cuda. Am going to replace the package tray and filler panel
with a very nice piece I founf in a junkyard from a 73 Barracuda. As we started trimming
we noticed the upper area where the back seat hooks is very different. The 70 is straight across,
smooth. The 73 has a jog on both sides. I tried to get some pic's, but the lighting isn't the greatest.

Anyone aware of this difference? Can I still use it? Would I need a different back seat?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

i would test fit your seat to the package tray to see how the hooks fit your seat, and how the seat top fits the package tray to make sure you don't go to all this work, then need to find a different seat.
if it doesn't fit quite right, would it be possible to leave the part with the original hooks in place, then section in the top side of the package tray ?

AFAIK all of the e-body back seat frames are the same 70-74.
