I recently disassembled the 361 in my 62 Polara, and found that it has 2205324 heads. These are closed chamber. Are these any good for a 440 build ? The 361 block is a HP block.. The 440 won't be for racing, only cruising and touring. Any Ideas? Thanks, Alex

Those early closed chamber heads are not that good on flowing, the small combustion iron heads might make that 440 motor have too much compression for todays pump gasoline work scope
I've used the later 516 close chambers heads on 1968 to 1971 440 HP short blocks after having the exhaust valves changed to 1.74 size and had seats ground for the larger valves wrench
I swapped a later set of 1968 open chamber 440 heads on that motor later and the car went faster and quicker with the newer heads shock shruggy scope up
