Since most people seem to regard you as the best, that seems like an odd thing for you to say Mike. sarcasm perhaps??
other reasons??
care to elaborate?

If you are interested in doing it yourself, there is a good thread on it where Troy and a few others did a nice job at home. But if you want to have it anodized like when new, you will need to send it out to have it restored.

You should check with Matt at MCB

http://www.tuffwheelrestoration.com

He did a nice job on my T/A hood trim for me and is currently working on my Headlamp Bezels.

Hmmm, all trim was one I was thinking about but couldn't remember the name. So I guess if alltrim recomends MCB I'll give them a try.
Thanks

Do it yourself..its not that bad. If I can do it you can. It came out NOS. If interested I will pm you with the instructions and where I got the supplies.

I didn't think MCB re-anodized their stuff, just straightened and polished.

Maybe they've changed recently?

I called them a few times about doing some of my trim about a year ago. Seems like I got a different answer about the anodizing every time I called. One of their guys even tried to talk me out of anodizing because then I wouldn't be able to polish my trim, + the anodize process can make repair welds show more. He said most people don't drive their cars anyway, just take them to shows. I plan on driving my car. I want to squish bugs all over the front end and wash them off without having to re polish my trim. Getting different answers from each phone call made me hesitate to send my parts to them. I decided to go with another trim restorer here on moparts. I think his name is Mr_Belvedere. (spelling?) Then before I sent my parts out to him I got a deal on some parts and just used the new ones I got instead of sending mine out to be fixed.

We do have the ability to re-anodize, it's just hard to commit to anodizing until you see the part in person stipped down of the paint and original anodization to see what we are working with. We do not try to deter the customer either way, but if you could see some of the parts people send to get restored and ask for anodization it's amazing.
