FINALLY!! Progression Ignition adds NITROUS TIMING RETARD, LAUNCH CONTROL and DATA LOGGING!!!
I have BEEN waiting for these features to be added to what I already believe is THE best ignition system for any carbureated engine that you want the best performance from, not only power, but fuel economy as a bonus.
Some big block Mopar engines with "fabricated" valve covers or "big" aftermarket heads were having clearance issues with the Progression Ignition, and the fix was grinding on the heads and bashing in the corner of the valve cover, so they made a smaller diameter billet aluminum distributor to alleviate the problem...
ALL of the features plus the timing curve are controlled by their easy to use APP, on an Apple or Android Bluetooth enabled device.
Enter basic information and the app generates a Timing Table, and you can store multiple timing tables.

Ordering a Progression Ignition distributor is on my to do list for this Summer. I have heard good things about them and it would cleanup the engine compartment by eliminating the ECU and ballast resistor.

No doubt about that, but the ultimate fine tuning of the advance, and the launch control 2 step and ease of use are all beneficial and unique to the Progression for carbureated engines.

I should be able to "get a grip" with the Assassin bars, HitMaster launch control, and drag radials, but unfortunately I haven't been down the track in over 2 years since I had all that installed!
With a number of close friends bringing cars to the track, that should be changing and I'll join them soon, no later that fall.

I know that the MSD grid has these features also but they aren't built into the distributor, PS I was a biomed too in the UK, last 6 years working in Rehabilitation and prior to that a Renal Tech. Retired now.
