Need a '69 4-speed console top. Heard the repros were too flat, and didn't follow the curve of the console. Is this true, or still true? Are the Mopar Performance versions worth the extra $200?

cant answer the question. But my ive never heard if the fit issues were ever resolved, and they still are too flat
And its my understanding they all come from same place

PG Classic

But Mike at BEA used to put them in a press and add a little curve in to make them fit.

I wonder if they fit aftermarket consoles, but not OEM ? Or the other way around ?

My original console top plates fit Tony's repro consoles very nice.

Found this pic from OER, and you can see it's bent backwards. Now this part is around $290 from a few places, and the Mopar Performance version is $300 more, not $200.
