Anyone know if a C-body thumbwheel radio will fit in the opening of a E-body dash without hacking up the trim enclosure?

it "may", however, i believe it will need to be a year range corresponding to the E-body YOM.
the earlier years had a different size radio body.
i base this on my memory going back to my junkyard ownership days.
at that time, we discovered certain similar year ranges of chrysler product am/fm radios would fit applications that the hollander books would say wouldn't fit. at times, it looked like they grew there. other times they were "off a little" looks wise, but they fit the hole.
the 74-78 chrysler am/fm fit a lot of different applications, as the radio face itself was part of the dash face.
i have several of these on the shelf because of this.
if doing a swap [providing it fits], don't forget the associated wiring harness. these aren't necessarily a "plug-n-play" swap.
