Might not get the Mini into the Polara's trunk, but it might fit on top of it...

Spent many an hour in a buddy's original Mini in L.A. decades ago, and somehow survived.
Funny as heck: could fit between the right lane & parked cars on the wider roads.
It also fit wide city sidewalks, but that's a story for another time...

Reminds me of the time when the Yugo's first came out. I was in my '57 Plymouth Belvedere and was passing a Yugo on the highway. As I went by I took a quick look and figured if I cut out the interior floor of my Plymouth the Yugo would fit inside without any problems!

How bout a Mini next to Christine?

My wife's Mini parked next to my Buddies Christine tribute 57 Savoy.
The Minis of that era are 4ft. wide x 4ft. tall x 10 ft long.

Another one, I'm thinking I could fit the Isetta in the GTX engine compartment if I removed the 440. The Isetta owner also had his big white thing there and I didn't see a driver for both cars. He started to load up the white car's trunk getting ready to leave. My son (young at the time) was fascinated by the small Isetta and confused also as to how the owner was going to get both of them home? So I said to my son, "He's probably going to put it into the trunk to take it home" and the owner heard that and gave me a real mean and dirty look. I guess he's heard that before and didn't appreciate it but shoot that's all part of owning an Isetta in AMERICA. This ain't Munich with small streets. Met him many times and all good.

i have always liked the isetta, messersmidt, and bmw. however, the prices being posted even for rotted ones, rival the prices being asked these days for 68-70 chargers. [in a miniaturized way of course. biggrin]
