Guys,

I'm looking for the "run channel" that the forward edge of the door glass runs in. I've found some from Van's but it doesn't say that it's for my car. What's your opinion on using these fuzzies in my car?

https://vansauto.com/product/mopar-...door-glass-window-channel-run-pn2932230/

Thanks

i'm thinking the 65's have more in common with the 64's than the 66's, but as long as those are the right width to fit into your channel and are long enough, [or can be cut to length] they "should" work.
have you thought about contacting van's to see if they could provide you with measurements ?

I could probably have them measure it. The thing is that they fit the 65-68 C bodies as well, that's what has me thinking.

Thanks

Usually the glass thickness and the in door channel width changes. Measure the glass thickness (often new glass is thinner then the original glass was) and the outside width of piece the channel fits into that you have and contact the seller. The channel material is usually sold in bulk, and several auto manufactures uses the 3 or 4 specific sizes. I'd be amazed if the seller of your choice couldn't get the replacement channels you need.

The mylar glass channel runs as pictured by the OP will not work for the 62 to 65 B-Body applications. The mylar runs were used from 1966 up through 1993 on a wide variety of applications. The mylar channels actually attaches to the door glass and moves within the division bar as the glass goes up and down. For the 62 to 65 applications, you will need a glass channel run that is similar to a velcro type of material that is glued to the division bar. Some of the glass shops may sell it under the mohair listing. It comes in a variety of width and thickness and you just purchase the desired length. Relatively inexpensive. A good glass shop or restoration supplier will stock the material.
