Anyone test D452s against Hooker 5209s on a dyno or track? Curious if the 5209 being equal length is worth anything, and Dougs also doesnt list a primary length for the 452s at all.

The only thing I can add here is that the Doug's headers PERFECTLY without beating the tubes up. The only thing I had to do was remove the grease fitting from the pitman arm as it was rubbing against the #5 tube. The coating still looks great after 10 years. Gus

Thanks for the input! Their coating is alot less than Hookers too.
Are you running straight or angled plug heads?

Dougs headers are made of heavier gauge steel than the Hookers. To me that is added quality and value.
Keep old mopars alive.

Hooker = made in China
I installed a set of D452's on my '66 Coronet 383 4-speed car. The passenger side header needed some work to clean a Lakewood bellhousing. Also a ding on the driver side to clear the pitman zerk like Gus did.
The last set of Hookers I had go resold.

I chose to grind the Lakewood bell rather than hammer the hell out of a coated header !!!
