As a friendly reminder, not all cars from California are rust free. In fact, depending on where you live, it can be just as bad as living is the salt belt. This poor thing is a living example of a slow death. 'I'm going to fix it one day" was realized to late to restore it. This car is not restorable and I wouldn't even call it a good parts car. Spending it's life in San Francisco with salt air from the ocean just minutes away will ruin a car in no time. If you were going to sacrifice a car in a movie, this is the one you would use. Heck, the glass and tires are the only things that don't have rust by the look of it.

Even the Rust Has Rust.

Yep.

Around here, that would be considered a good project car.

If it was 2000 miles closer, I'd be checking it out very carefully, and probably bidding on it.

The firewall, front inner fenders and radiator support are the only parts that don’t seem to have rust, and that’s because the front clip is not off to inspect it. Look at the pics and you can see that this car won’t have a single piece of exterior metal that is restorable.

My buddy's last couple of daily-driver El Caminos - they sat outside in Daly City, which is a bit South of Frisco - rusted not only from the top down, but in the pillars.
It's like a salt-air bath, a few blocks from the ocean.
