If anything, over the 23 years we've been making and selling stroker kits, the quality has only gone up. Our pistons are made for us by United Engine and machine, a local company that's been making pistons since 1927. All our rods are made for us by SCAT. All bolts are genuine ARP. Bearings are Clevite, Rings are Total Seal, all USA made stuff. We've sold tens of thousands of kits all over the world, builds in Hot Rod Magazine and others routinely make 1000-1400 horsepower with no problems.

I would think Andy's basic 512 combination along with a mildly ported Indy Dual plane 440-D would be a perfect combination for what you are looking for.
