I was using a 3000 chip till Lonnie told me to pull it and see where the conv stalls with no chip. It was at 4200. On his advise I left the chip out and just run it all the way up on the conv. Now the cars pulls the left front wheel ever so slighlty off the ground.

It might like it it might not. Not that hard to swap chips and find out so why not give it a shot.

I use 3400 with a 9 inch 4200 convertor. My heavy car seems to like to flash the convertor.

Your colt is a ladder bar isnt it.... if so the ladder
bar is much more violent so it might just slam the
tire and bounce you off the ground. But with the
4-link it makes it plant the tire

Chip at 5200 on a 5600 convertor. Works great, did it with ladder bars and am doing it now with a 4 link set up.

only if your super class racing and trying cut a light on a pro tree. really has nothing to do with traction and going faster. and it's tough on parts to leave like that. I think you get better 60's leaving at a low rpm letting the converter flash instead of leaving on the mat
