been thinking of replacing the rear rails on my demon, I have bought a ton of AMD parts some the metal gauge isn't even close.
Does anyone know if the A body rails are the correct gauge?
Anyone have side by side pics?

Thanks

I have a pair of rear rails I cut out of a 73 Dart sport laying around. Never checked the parts books to see if they were the same though. I know the torsion bar support is different from 67-72 and 73-up. shruggy

you are right Rhino.
we only replaced the last two feet or so of the rail, instead of the whole rail.
the rear part around where the rear spring hanger was bad, so not having a dart sport to get the complete rail, we used the rear part of [i think] a valiant, as those sections matched what we needed.
a little finagling around the bumper mounting cross member was required, but nothing serious anyone will see if they crawl under for a look.
