wow! I have a customer that last year on May 12th had his shed ripped apart by the Drerecho that hit our area. He had his 2 late model Shelby Mustangs receive minor damage. His 2021 Suburban various damage. His 21 Chevy 2500 various damage. HIs 66 mustang various all over damage but the worst was his 70 Chevelle 396 convertible that had metal and shop doors bouncing all over it. Did not total any of them but the Chevelle will require a complete including top. So yeah you dodged a major bullet by the looks of the shed behind the challenger! I think you had someone looking over the car!

We had one come through our back yard last spring.
Scariest sound I've heard.
'63 Dodge 330 11.19 @ 121 mph Pump gas, n/a, through the mufflers on street tires with 3.54's. 3,600 lbs. 10.01 @ 133mph with a 250 shot of nitrous an a splash of race gas. 1.36 60 ft. 3,700 lbs.

Wow glad you escaped that one!!!
They are odd things for sure. I've been through a few and seen how they can destroy. The first one I went through was here in Florida about 25 years ago and I found out why everyone says "it sounded like a train".
Facts are stubborn things.

Every time I hear a train I ask my wife: "how do we know it isn't a tornado?" All kidding aside, they are NOT to be joked about, but boy are they fascinating freaks of nature. I was in the outer ring of one back around 1985 just North of Abilene, TX, but it was rain wrapped & we did not see the funnel. I had to pull over because whatever it was, it felt like we were going to get blown off the road! The winds subsided after about 30 seconds & we resumed heading South to Abilene. It wasn't until we got to the hotel & turned on the TV & they showed the path of it that we realized we were in it!
