i've used them on the street for years in various vehicles. no problem at all. they feel different. i like the way they feel. touch the gas and the front end comes up like a boat. cool. all ahead flank!

for what is the good life if not doing things thoughtfully?

If you got a nice set of adjustables you could have
the best of both worlds... dial them up for cornering
and soft for track

Used them for years on the street with no problems, on our current car with use slant 6 bars and have the shocks at 80/20, works great on the street and track.

IMO, try the Calvert shocks if you are on a budget. Ive got a set and they separate very easily, way quicker and easier than CE's.

By the way I use the Calverts on the street and they are fine. I also used the CE's on the street since 90 or 91, no problems with them either.

Summit and CE shocks are too stiff. They could be $10 and the Calverts would still be a better deal. Calverts are budget compared to real race shocks like Hal, Afco, Strange etc.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

As its been pointed out, budget compared to a real race shock.

I plan to take my stock shocks off this week and replace them with a good 90/10 style shock. Maybe I will try the Calvert shocks as I have a set of Comps on my boys Dart that were given to us. Ron

I run CEs on my small block Dart, it handles fine on the street and has gone 1.53 60' on 275 M/T ET Street Radials.
