Could someone post a picture of what the original '70 E Body clutch fork adjust rod,nut,beveled spacer,etc look like?I know the Mopar Performace kit works,but some of the parts are different I think.Thanks !!

I'm interested too.The original had a type of machined rounded end ball that slide over the adjustment rod,but beyond that I am not sure.I'd like to see a original/correct set up also.Anybody?

Hey Jim,
I put an NOS original in my Charger. To bad I didn't take a pic of it before I did that. The ones from Mopar will work , but there are slight differences. The convex washer and hard black rubber spacer that Mopar still sells are 100% correct. I have seen that ball socket looking thing before and it is likely a truck part.

Here is a pic of a used original (bottom) and a new MP one (top). An original has a slight hockey stick type bend to it whereas the MP one is perfectly straight. I made the mistake of trying to put a bend into an MP one and it broke, so be careful if you try.
