Hi All,
Hoping some folks can offer some advice .
We have decided to purchase a used Late model Challenger . Our budget is 25k ish .. Not looking for an SRT or better just nice 5.7 6 speed with a moderate amount of mileage . The plan is to keep it for a couple of years as a daily for my wife and for me occasionally as her commute is 8 miles a day mine 50 . We have a snow day car she can use on crappy days .
Questions;
I have seen older cars like '09 or so that seem to have been garage kept that are immaculate with low miles , like 12k to 20 k. The prices are around our budget figure. I also see newer cars like '16s with 50-70 k miles around the same price . What would you do ? Go for the lower miles or the newer model. Honestly they all look mostly the same to us .

Is there any benefit or downside to purchasing from a dealer or private owner ? We assumed A dealer would add cost to the purchase . Our past dealership experiences have never been good so we are a bit jaded in that regard .

TIA , Gary

2015 a lot of things changed, I would go with 2015 and newer if I was in the market. Had an 08 for a while, but it was heavily modified and it needed it. There were issues with the earlier Hemi's so going with a higher mileage car would be fine, besides the interiors are SOOOOO much better after 2014... twocents

The funny thing about science is that if you change one miniscule parameter you change the entire outcome to the way you want it.

I had a 2010 SRT-8 and a 2016 R/T Shaker. The 16 had a much nicer interior and ran just about as well as the SRT.
