I had this thought about the upcoming BEV Charger, after seeing the video of it running around and the exhaust sound that was being touted for it a few months back. What a joke that was
What if, instead of having the exhaust sound, the BEV had the distinctive Chrysler gear reduction starter noise when the start button was pushed? Would that be better? What say you, Moparts denizens?
I'm not looking at getting one myself, and can't say I'm keen on this "electrify everything" push.
BEV - battery electric vehicle PHEV - plug in hybrid electric vehicle REV - range extender vehicle MHEV mild hybrid electric vehicle
...I think
And regarding the sound of the charger, pretty sure the jury came back and said it sound ridiculous and to change it or just rid of it entirely. They are mandated to make some sort of noise for blind people, but not that.
I say no noise period..including a horn Better save the juice to get back home.

It looks like the exterior styling was designed for blind people too.
They certainly could have done better if mimicking the 2nd gen charger was their true intention. Its even worse when the head design guy owns a 68. Sad to say but I bet a designer from any other company could have done a better job. The 05 Mustang was done by a japanese guy...
Then there's always the electric sound of a rotary (3-stroke IMO Wankel) motorcycle engine like on the Hercules, always love the sound of this bike and it even looks like an electric motor.
