Do any of you happen to know if the measured section width of a tire will change at all when simply changing a wheel/rim width. I have mach'd up a 15X8 wheel with a 275-60/15 Drag radial and it looks as though a 15X10 may be a better wheel for this tire. I just dont want the section width to get stretched all that much more than it is already. Is that even possible?

A close estimate is the section width grows half the increase in wheel width. In this case, two inches more rim equals an inch more total tire width at its' widest.
