Its called the Ram REV, which is believed to mean range extender vehicle, not full electric

Wonder if it'll be a premium line above the regular pickups ?
I like the exterior styling - clean and taut - not sure about the interior.
I doubt all of those features would make production, but I got a chuckle out of a power tailgate.
I'll guess it'll weigh 6,000 lbs even if it's a gas engine - though it seems everyone's designing EV stuff.

Side thought: think they have enough folks in Management ? Sheesh !

I think its just the new Ram. Gas, hybrid and electric but they're marketing it (and the new charger alike) like they're super dooper greenie full EV's...but they aren't.

Current Ram came out 6 years ago so it's already due to be replaced

They dropped this today as well

Can we get the Mexican cartels to help us with our supply chain issues? They don't seem to have any trouble getting stuff from one place to another.

Ford seems to be the only one to get the electric truck thing right. It looks normal, it has great features, and they are already selling it.

Yeah but its useless when used as a truck. Hook up a trailer and the range plummets so bad it'll barely make it to the next charging station

And here's the Rivian, which is the coolest EV truck IMO, but watch what happens when trying to take it on a road trip

This electric stuff is going to bankrupt Chrysler. 2027 might be their swan song or you will see the company on Facebook market place looking for a new owner.

I bet that truck would be over 6 figures.

Anybody that uses a truck for working isn't going to care for it.

sample quote

The concept features revolutionary side-view mirrors that are smaller, more lightweight and use 3D printed materials for optimal aerodynamics and reduced drag. The side-view mirrors use a digital camera to capture the truck’s surroundings, allowing for a smaller physical size.
snip..
The rearview mirror combines leading-edge technology to improve safety and convenience. Significantly smaller than traditional truck mirrors without compromising effectiveness, the rearview mirror is packed with a range of sophisticated technologies, including a smart backup camera with 360-degree views, speakers, and receivers compatible with voice assistants, such as Alexa and Siri.

When in reverse, the camera stitches together images from various other cameras around the truck, providing the driver with a 360-degree view on the interior digital screens. This allows the driver to see their surroundings with greater clarity, helping to avoid accidents and improve safety, especially when backing up to a trailer. The mirror also includes a supplementary backup flood lamp that provides additional visibility when reversing the truck, which is especially useful in low light conditions. In addition to the backup camera, the rearview mirror also communicates with biometric cameras that observe the truck’s environment as it approaches objects and as it’s being approached.

Digital side-view mirrors and augmented reality (AR) head-up display (HUD) highlight the onboard advanced technology.

I hope that all the automakers that wimped out going the EV route crash and burn. Screw them for not having the balls like Toyota does.
I don't own nor ever have owned a Toyota.

Maybe but there is hundreds and thousands of pickup truck owners that never pull a trailer, or carry anything for that matter.

Yes and it'll probably be fine but they also take a serious range hit in cold temps too. A lot of people are buying them and not knowing all the faults they have, to this day a lot of EV buyers replace them with gassers. Lets not forget the largest elephant in the room - charging up in some sketchy area at night time

It's a concept, so folks, don't get your panties in a bunch.

I always wondered why the back of cabs don't open up so you can fold the rear seats down to load long stuff. Seems that everyone don't mind a 5.5' bed, but I sure as heck do.

I also like how the bed floor can extend. 3 row seats? Why not if they can get it to work? Who likes minivans anyways?

Ram will kick the competition's buttt if they make it a hybrid which can give it MUCH-NEEDED range over Phord, Rivian, and GMC.

Dig the glass roof.
