I've heard ECS is the best & most accurate, but have no personal experience on E carpets.
I generally use ACC on A- and B-bodies.

I think ECS carpet is made by one of the big players, and they spec to have it shipped flat instead of being rolled up?

I got a carpet for a 70 Challenger about 2 years ago from Legendary which came in a box also marked ACC. Total garbage. Thinner material and padding; along with a crapy fit. The underside padding was also glued on folded in half! I bought the same carpet from them 25 years ago and it was just like my original. The lady I spoke to from Legendary says ACC supplies them with the carpet which is now made in China. Surprise Surprise!

All of the carpet now comes from Auto Custom Carpets, ACC out of Anniston, AL. The actual carpet is manufactured in Dalton, GA and surrounding communities in Northwest Georgia. It is cut and molded in the Anniston location. Since ACC bought the Trim Parts carpet line, they are the sole manufacturer supplying everyone else. They ship out over 14 semi trailer loads of carpet every day. ECS was buying the carpet from ACC and shipping it out in large flat boxes. But the carpet was standard issue from ACC. ECS is no longer offering that option.

Being that we are located in NW Georgia, we have worked with ACC on various projects involving carpet and trunk mats. Through this relationship, we have a direct sales associate and a National Sales Rep that we work with. The Sales Rep has a wide variety of Mopars and has been beneficial in working with us in getting a variety of things updated over the years.

When ordering carpet, do not order it when it will be another two or three months or years before your ready to install it. Carpet that has been stuffed into the shipping box for months or years is almost impossible to remove the wrinkles without extra efforts. As soon as the carpet arrives, remove it from the box and lay it out flat, presumably in the floor pan of the car. Currently for most carpet orders in the more common colors, once the order is called in, it is ready for shipping within the next 36 to 48 hours. We also order the carpet "untrimmed" on the sides and top. This gives you extra material that comes in handy to make it fit well at the firewall and sill plate pinch well. Many of the shops that we deal with are starting to order the mass backing which gives the carpet a rubberized coating on the backside of the carpet which helps to insulate the car from temperature extremes and noise. Takes a bit more effort to install, but has its advantages over the regular shoddy padding. The jute padding that was used back in the OEM days was outlawed. Now it is a much thinner and lesser weight shoddy padding. You can add more shoddy padding or use other barriers like Dynamat to act as an insulator as well.

I ordered from ACC for my Challenger. I thought it fit well. It was a shame to have to cut it all up around all of my roll cage bars but looks great in there now.

I ordered a trunk mat from ACC last year and fitment was really, really bad. Sent pics to them and they claimed there is nothing wrong with it. They charged me a restock fee.
