Anyone checked lately on the availability of rods from Molnar? I heard they were out of stock.

I have been a Molnar dealer ever since Tom left K-1. The supply has been spotty at best for the last year because of strict Covid rules in China, but an air shipment of rods just arrived a few weeks ago along with a shipping container load of cranks. There are also two more shipping containers that are on the ocean right now in route to the East coast. West coast is so backed up they started shipping them to the East for faster service.
If anyone needs any rods or cranks let me know. I pride myself as selling Molnar products at lower cost than anyone on the internet does.
Tom

How much power n rpm can they handle? Tying to determine what power level the rods can handle is hard to quantify since there are so many factors that come into play. Piston weight, RPM level, NOS spraying, and Boost all play into what a rod can handle. I am confident that even with the nastiest high horsepower normally aspirated engine one can build you'll never see a Molnar rod fail. They also have a series of rods called, Power Adder they are built specifically for boosted and nitrous applications. Tom Molnar started his career 41-years ago at Oliver Rods, then went to work for K-1 Technologies for many years, and then finally starting his own company over a decade ago. He has more experience than almost anyone in the rod business and provides a very high quality product at a very reasonable price. Tom

I haven't heard anything negative about Molnar and when I do a stroker kit for my motor I'll definitely be purchasing Molnar rods + crank. Thanks!

How much power n rpm can they handle? Molnar will not tell you that. However if you tell them the weight of the piston, rings, and pin they will tell you the RPM limit of the rod and rod bolts. Power really does not have much to do with it.

8 years with Molnar crank and rods in my junk. They're the best pieces on the whole car! Moparts = “8 years”…… so about 200 passes I have 280ish passes on my Molnar crank rods in my W8 mill, but we’re only mid 700ish hp….. and unfortunately my time line matches my snarky comment above.

Never counted total passes but we try to be at the track every weekend it's been open in the Summer. That doesn't include the over 7,000 rowdy miles I've put on it on the street! My Dad used to say I could break an anvil with a rubber hammer so I'm your man if you want something durability tested.

That old truck motor, makes more HP than that, to push your car to 9.teens. More like 800+.
