2004 Ram . The LAMP OUT light is on in the dash. all lights work except RR turn sig . When the right turn sig is applied , the relay clicks real fast , and the rear sig doesnt work . Front sig works .

Its NOT the ts bulb , ive tried 3 . and the weird part is this = with the whole tail light assembly removed and unplugged , I tested voltage at the plug from the truck harness.

It should flash from 0 to 12v or so consistently yes ?? It just sits there at a solid 8V on the ts terminal. Any ideas ??

You are correct, it should be 12 volts, off and on. Where are you picking up the ground for your test meter, through the tail light ground? Could be just a bad ground for the right side tail light assembly (everything at the taillight uses the same ground wire). The turn/brake has the most voltage and a bad ground often shows up as the voltage increases.

After the ground check, if it was mine, I would be following the wiring between the two sets of tail lights. Next if you have a trailer light connection, I would start there. Generally, the wiring comes from the front on the driver side and crosses over to the right side near the rear bed crossmember, but it often branches over to the trailer connecter on the way to the right side. If the trailer connection is good, I'd be looking for a frayed or badly corroded wire for the turn signal power to the right taillight.

Good idea -- ill check at the trailer plug . As far as ground I was probing ground pin in the plug...the rest of the lights there work fine so im doubting that ground is bad

That's what it was on my 2004 with the same problem. New board was only like $20. I'm not sure sure how it works to know there's a burnt out bulb but that could be why it's seeing 8V. Did you try pulling apart the other side to see what it does?

Funny you mention that...i was just reading about the TIPM (fusebox) . I guess it can cause all kinds of weirdness,,,my truck has been acting strange here and there........like trying to stall , wipers turn on by themselves ...now the turn signal

All stuff you mention are things I have seen with the box.
If you swap it out..make sure it is from the same year truck, there are differences between years generally.
Bet a dime to a doughnut you have a fuse box corrosion issue. Extremely common. Hopefully you can find a good used one.

I went through HELL on the TIPM, lost the right trailer light, then would lose the BUS occasionally between the cab and the engine compartment, then other lights started being intermittent. I finally got a rebuilt TIPM because no factory one's are available, got it off eBay.

Is the TIPM just the metal module on the side of the fusebox? Or do you have to replace the entire thing ?
