I thought the earlier 318's had full floating pins. IIRC, the last one I pulled apart (1968) did.

I thought the earlier 318's had full floating pins. IIRC, the last one I pulled apart (1968) did. All of the 318 motors I've seen and worked on up to mid 1972 or 1973 had the bushings I'm not sure if Mopar started pressing fitting them in mid 1972, early 1973 or maybe even starting in 1975: confused:

The early 318 poly and 273 rods are also bushed to match the 340...
I have a few sets laying around but I don't know what the part #'s on them are...
They are different in their design as well as everything about them is smaller and lighter...
Length and bearing tolerances are all the same...
...FAFO...
